The Parliamentary Committee for Oversight of the Work of the National Security Agency and the Intelligence Agency conducted an oversight visit to the premises of the National Security Agency on September 10, 2025.

The Director of the National Security Agency, Bojan Hristovski, informed the members of the Commission about the established irregularities and illegal actions in the institution in the period from 2019 to 2024. He pointed out that notifications about the case have already been submitted to the competent Public Prosecutor's Office, which is handling the cases, which is why the MPs were unable to inspect the documentation at this stage.

The meeting emphasized the importance of institutional action in accordance with the legal regulations, as well as substantial parliamentary oversight of the work of the ANB. The members of the Commission were also informed about other activities that are being undertaken to improve the working conditions and overcome the identified shortcomings in the functioning of the Agency.
