The Agency for National Security and the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of North Macedonia signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the aim of improving and strengthening the mutual cooperation.

The Memorandum was signed by the Director of the Agency for National Security, MA Bojan Hristovski and the Public Prosecutor of the Republic of North Macedonia, MA Nenad Saveski.

With the Memorandum a framework of cooperation is being established in the areas of joint interest, with a special emphasis on the efficient implementation of the competences of both institutions, as well as improvement of prevention and tackling security challenges.

The cooperation will be effectuated through:

exhange of data, information and experiences;

joint activities, projects, conferences, trainings and workshops;

coordination in areas of joint interest.

Moreover, both institutions committed to applying the highest security and confidentiality standards in the realization of the cooperation, in accordance with the existing legislation.
